LIFE CYCLE

DESIGN

Enables industrialised architecture and circular architecture, two cutting-edge sustainable architecture concepts.
Inspiration for architects and designers bridging the gap between nature and art.
High aesthetic value without higher costs than traditional building systems.

RAW
MATERIAL

It requires little energy to be put into use in architecture, 100% natural material that only has to undergo cutting processes.
Reduces CO2 emissions by between 52% and 95%.
Highly efficient extraction and processing process in terms of stone utilisation (around 80%) and CO2 emissions (between 2.4 and 7.2 kg CO2-eq/m2 depending on thickness)

CONS
TRUCTION

One-step façade cladding. The stone itself forms the body of the work, minimising material use and waste, as well as reducing energy costs.
Elimination of the use of chemicals in finishes. No paint or varnish is required, increasing the quality of life during the building use phase and eliminating the need for subsequent maintenance.
The tonnes of emissions generated by raw materials and construction would account for 41% of the total emissions generated by the building in 50 years of use.

USE

Adds high energy efficiency for NZEBs (nearly zero-energy buildings)
Gran High thermal inertia that reduces extreme temperature variations. Increases safety due to being fire-resistant.
Maintenance is minimal, estimated at once every 50 years with pressurised water. Indestructible beauty, the patina of time enhances its aesthetic qualities.

END OF
LIFE

Albamiel stone ashlars and bricks are very durable, easy to dismantle and can be re-used, encouraging a circular economy.

Simple and safe installation whatever your choice

MASSIVE CONSTRUCTION

Standardised ashlars or customised modular elements for direct on-site installation without waste, cutting or later finishing.
FACING BRICK

Direct installation by a bricklayer, without the need for auxiliary equipment
VENTILATED FAÇADE

The ventilated façade with a continuous profile reduces the risks associated with parts coming loose due to the inadequate fastening materials

TESTIMONIALS

Architects who have trusted our
natural stone
in sustainable projects

“We and the client are very happy with the stone. It is the perfect material for this unique project. We hope to have opportunities to use it in the future.”

STUDY Architects

EEUU

“For the Lyon Caluire building, Rosal Stones, chosen to supply the large stones and arches, did a high quality job. The architects and the client were very pleased with the finely cut arch voussoirs.
The company’s ability to supply different stones is shown here in the successful marriage of Marina Rosal stone on the lower floors and Albamiel on the upper floors. We look forward to working with Rosal Stones again.”

Gilles Perraudin

France

“Rosal Stone is my home in stone, in our journey together they have taught me everything I know about stone, and with them I have been able to explore, investigate and materialise spaces and places. My house, for example, is an ‘experiment’ with exposed brick made of Albamiel stone, obtained from the remains of blocks. This exposed brick allows us to enter into nature, with its truth, its pores, its fingerprint.”
